Trip to KL

Daddy and mummy had taken the entire week off during the week of Christmas, and therefore we decided to head back up to KL. Everyone was really excited and looking forward to seeing Chloe..... including Yee Poh who was still in town.

Uncle Bok made dinner reservations at an exotic Thai restaurant - a new restaurant that was recommended by a wine and dine magazine. The food was fantastic and the ambience was wonderful. Everyone had a lovely evening, and as always, Chloe was the centre of attention.

Yee Poh, who had just been down in Singapore two weeks prior, was joyfully surprised that she was able to see Chloe again before she left for the States the following day. In Yee Poh's own words: "It's a bonus !!"... haha

Gazing lovingly at grandpa.....

Chloe has never met her great grandparents (daddy's maternal grandparents) and hence we thought it was about time she did.... And so we decided to drive up to Ipoh, a town which was about 2 hours north of KL. The trip took longer than expected due to heavy traffic, but we got there anyway (in high spirits). Again, it was down to great company and excellent food. Daddy had previously been to a peranakan restaurant and thus had specifically made a request to have lunch there..... (food, food, food...... daddy, why do you love food so much?? hahaha)

Coincidentally, it was also the same weekend where grandpa and grandma were moving house. The new house is pretty close to their old house, but is much bigger and have more bedrooms to accommodate everyone (including us when we visit ... hooray !!)....
Hence we had stayed at a hotel for a couple of nights before grandpa and grandma settled down at their new house. The photos below were taken at the hotel, and the smile on Chloe's face pretty much summarises how the trip went and how everyone felt........ spending quality time with family is indeed a joy to cherish & treasure.

Mummy - when are you going to bring me to SeaWorld (& Disneyland) in the States?? The UnderwaterWorld in Singapore is really boring !! hahaha
